Types of GI Earthing Systems:

2. Plate Earthing: A galvanized iron plate is buried vertically or horizontally in the ground. This method is typically used when the soil resistance is high.

3. Strip Earthing: A GI strip is used in large installations, where a strip is connected to a deep earth electrode to ensure a low-resistance path.

Advantages of GI Earthing:

1. Corrosion Resistance: The galvanization process prevents rust and corrosion, making GI earthing systems more durable than non-galvanized alternatives.
